Hi, I’m Victoria. I’m 22 & this is my one year progress photo. :) When I started this blog in January of 2012, I had 100lbs left to lose. I wanted to lose 100lbs in one year after being inspired by Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition. At some point in my journey, I realized if I kept losing weight at the rate I was losing, my loose skin was going to be severe. I’ve slowed down my progress with weight loss, & now focus on weight lifting & running or cycling outside. I rarely use the cardio machines in the gym however I do strength training about every other day. This past weekend I ran a 5k without stopping, when this time last year I couldn’t run 1/16th of a mile. I only started running about 4 or 5 months ago, & I wish I’d started a year ago. I encourage you to start your weight loss journey today if you’re looking through blogs trying to find inspiration to start, & if you’re looking for an idea of how to start, take your before pictures & measurements & use this as a reference. I started losing weight again in November of 2011, but didn’t seriously take progress pictures until March of 2012 when I realized, “Woah, I’m really doing this, I should take some before pictures in my underwear.” You will thank yourself!
My husband and I lost weight together by eating healthy and exercising together. We just stopped eating out, started cooking for ourselves, and just made small healthy changes that turned into a lifestyle.
We’re both 22 and when we started we both had health issues that we were too young to have so we had to lose weight. Now we’re not as concerned with losing weight any more as we are with getting stronger and fitter.
I started at 230lbs - Current weight is 157lbs (total lost 73lbs)
He started at 255 lbs - Current weight is 187lbs (total lost 68lbs)
*Feel free to talk to me or ask me questions:)

How did I loose this weight? Eating right.

Seriously, you need to eat right to loose weight. That doesn’t mean starve yourself and it also doesn’t mean that there wont be hardships. Take foods you like modify them, take out the pop and juices try flavored water or tea/coffee. Don’t restrict yourself too much enjoy a small fry every now and then.
Finally, if you want FAST results workout! That means 45 means of cardio/strength training at leaaaaaaaaaast 4-5 times a week! Be active :)

5’9ft. It’s taken me a little over a year and a half. There was a alot of trial and error involved but I have discovered that eating clean 90% of the time and exercising regularly worked best for me. Weightloss should be fun, not stressful. 10lbs to go! The healthy way!!!
Long way from home….I guess we can call it a career change
